THE CHITAL COLLECTION
Organic and sculptural, the Chital leg was one of the first design elements Kifu Augousti created for her brand. Inspired by the horns of a gazelle and the shadows it creates when they run in the wild, she created an interpretation of this and applied it to a series of pieces for this collection.
The Chital III Floor Lamp by Kifu Paris is a sleek and sculptural piece, inlaid in a mixture of bronze-patina brass with shagreen or shell inlay. The chiseled legs, which are an iconic shape within the KIFU PARIS universe, morph into the solid shades that create a modern-vintage feel. This piece is designed by Kifu Augousti, the daughter of Ria and Yiouri Augousti. All shagreen pieces are hand-dyed by artisans.

The Chital rectangle side table is both dramatic and organic its unique design. The black shagreen inlaid top sits on a pair of ethereal and sculptural bronze-patina brass legs. This piece makes for the perfect end table and is originally inspired by the Chital console, see image at end of slide. This piece is designed by Kifu Augousti the daughter of Ria and Yiouri Augousti.
The finish of the shagreen is authentic as it is hand-dyed and the designer calls the finish look: "coal black shagreen."
